* Managing incidents with 'Monzo Incident'
---
Dealing with incidents can be stressful. On top of dealing with the issue at hand, on-callers are often responsible for handling internal and external comms, reporting, and coordinating the efforts of other engineers. To reduce the pressure and cognitive burden on engineers, Monzo built a tool to help coordinate, report and more quickly resolve incidents. This talk is a walk through how we manage incidents at Monzo, and how we use the tool to make incidents awesome.

* Know your limits - Understanding bottlenecks in production

Understanding the complex interactions between software components in a distributed architecture is hard. Understanding how these interactions evolve at scale and diagnosing performance bottlenecks can be even harder. At Just Eat we place hundreds of thousands of test orders each day to identify potential performance issues and ensure confidence ahead of the peak period. This talk discusses the what, the how and, most importantly, the why of load testing at Just Eat.
