Bristol Meetups

Coding Horror Stories

As October is the month containing Halloween our theme is Coding Horror Stories! We've got 8 fantastic lighting talks for you to enjoy.

Thanks to Rixxo (https://www.rixxo.com/) for providing venue sponsorship. Without them we wouldn't be able to put on this night.

We've got 8 amazing talks lined up:

Doug Fitzmaurice will tell us why if we're thinking of sending emails... we shouldn't.

Dan Ackroyd will share his Docker Container Disasters.

Ade Slade talks about Daemonic PHP and his lessons learnt from running long running processes in production.

Rob Wilson will explain to use about Code, Coffee and the Bleedin Obvious.

Nathaniel Smith will share coding, sorry I mean, Recruitment Horror Stories.

Michael Bush will tell us about The Horror of a Hash Complexity Attack.

Jonathan Jefferies tells us about the Night of the Legacy Code

Plus we've also got a talk from Christopher Gee on turning coding nightmares into coding dreams.

So sign up ASAP because it'd be a nightmare to miss out on an evening of talks this good.

After the talks we will stay for drinks. Yes the venue, Runway East, has it's own bar!

See you on Wednesday 10th October.
