We will briefly cover the state of layout on the web. Looking at past, present and future layout techniques.
There will be a practical part where I will cover how to roll your own CSS to do layout (grids) without reaching for a CSS framework. The technique will involve using 'inline-block' instead of 'floats'.
You will also get a chance to fiddle around with flexbox and CSS Grids!.
