19:00 - Tim Berry, head of Google Cloud Practice at Claranet will give a talk on "Serverless Video Intelligence". It will be an overview of the serverless movement in general for Google Cloud Platform, and a demo of their Cloud Vision API.

Tim runs the Site Reliability Engineering team for Google Cloud Platform at Claranet's Public Cloud Practice. Prior to that I built and managed the DevOps infrastructure for ForgeRock, another Bristol tech company.
19:30 - Anton Tolchanov, SRE at Google, will give a talk on 'Solving Reliability Fears with SRE'. He will describe the key principles behind Site Reliability
Engineering and discuss how they can be used in practice to run
reliable systems.
Bio: Despite getting a degree in business administration, Anton has
been working with software his whole career. He has been a Site
Reliability Engineer at Google since 2014. His interests, hobbies and
personal traits are not something he'd like to disclose in a public
bio, but he'll be happy to tell you his secret to good scrambled eggs.
